Originally Hatz#148, Mike is rebuilding some of what was constructed and is finishing the project using plans #265. "Crazy" Mike, as he's known because of his enthusiastic penchant for finding and buying Hatz and Kelly-D aircraft around the country, flying them home over mountains and great distances, only to sell them shortly after because of his own project, is one of the true Hatz Nutz.

	Here's a front view of Mike's Hatz, N265MD, sans O-290-3, as he has removed 'Firewall Forward' for a different engine installation.
