I'm excited to announce that I received plans number 737 today. I hope to get started pretty soon. I actually just completed a Long Eze about a year ago that I built together with a partner. But I've got the
building bug pretty bad I guess and I've had my eyes on the Hatz for
some time. I really would love to own a Stearman, but I'm not a rich
man, so the Hatz CB-1 looks to be the right one for me in more ways than one.My life as a homebuilder began with my Dad back in the mid 60's when he built a Thorp T-18 all metal 2 seater airplane. We worked on that project for seven and one half years. It was a great time and a wonderful way to build a father and son relationship. My oldest son also helped me with the Long Eze. Now I have two younger sons who will be inducted into assisting me on the Hatz.
I like your web site as it is informative. I saw Dale Severs plane at
Sun n' Fun and couldn't hold off from buying the plans any longer. He
really did a nice job. I look forward to corresponding with the Hatz
group in the future. I have a really nice digital camera and will
forward my progress on to you as appropriate. Thanks to all of you who have contributed already. It helped me in
deciding this was the right plane for me.
