Hello, all you AHA members!
The time is fast approaching for our annual meeting, at the time and place of the National Biplane Expo, Bartlesville, OK, June 4 and 5. Our annual meeting will be in the morning on Saturday, with the scheduling of the meeting usually conducting some kind of a weird game of dodge ball with the Hatz forum, also held on Saturday morning. The ABA moves the Forum earlier...We move our meeting later...The ABA is afraid of a conflict and moves our Forum later, etc. It always works out, though, so the main thing is that you get your buns (and especially your airplanes, builders logs, photos, wild stories, smiling faces, questions, criticisms, offers to help, etc.) down to BVO the first Friday and Saturday of June. It is always a great time, especially in the years where the weather cooperates across a goodly section of the good ole US of A, permitting tons of biplanes to descend upon sleepy little Phillips Field.
We need you to attend, because it is important for the life of the AHA that you do lots of fun aviation type things. The Biplane Expo is a classic example of exactly that! If you need details re: travel, lodging, rental cars, etc., it's best to go right to the website of the National Biplane Assn. It's all there.
