Ahhh...
Life on the flightline is good.
The first Hatz, Happiness, belonged to a gentleman by the name of John Hatz. It's now flown by Ray Marvin of Tomahawk, WI.
Jim Hammond came in from Ohio in his beautiful Hatz.
Jim Wright came up from Indiana in his ol' LB-1 (Lycoming/Biplane).
Remember Frank Pavliga's Champion Hatz? It's baaaaack!
Bob Rusky now owns her.
Nose detail of the Pavliga Hatz. Take notes all you Lycoming builders! Where's the ring gear?
Jack Hooker, of Hooker Harness, stopped by to explain how to select a harness system.
Dip Davis, the Pope of Dope from Superflite, showed us how to cover. Hank Barnell, the Manager of Superflite, also stopped by.
Turnout for the forums was good!
EAA Chapter 414 joined us on the field to offer shade and cool drinks.
Cubbie suns herself while young Mr. Ryan Brown defends the perimeter against suspicious cameramen.
The Pavliga Hatz taxis out with Bob Rusky at the controls.
