Al Sherman's Hatz in flight

Jack Barker's jig for welding small parts. An extra set of hands, even mechanical, are always welcome in the shop.

Jack Barker moved into his new shop and the Hatz is coming along fine.

Don Drake reports that his daughters are coming along faster than his project.

AHA Director Tiny Hotzfeld tries on his Hatz beside the original one.

The award-winning New Vintage has a quiet moment in Dale Sever's hangar.

Dale shares the hangar with partner Rick Hansen. That's Rick's Hatz on the right.

Speaking of Rick's Hatz, he recently sold the plane to Ed
Byars, author of "Coast to Coast in a Cub"
Ed ownes many biplanes and has been spending most of his
time in a Waco UPF7. Rick sez that he always thought that it was the Hatz guys that were called Waco Wannabees, but now the tide has turned and the Waco guys are becoming Hatz Haftabees!

Vincent Carret, of France, has the gear, tail and seats completed. He'll be flying with Michel Pallier soon!
